In Her Time flew home to finish second in the Group 1 Stradbroke Handicap (1350m) a fortnight ago and remains a clear $3.10 favourite in 2017 Tattersall’s Tiara betting markets at Ladbrokes.com.au, ahead of Prompt Response ($6.50) and Bonny O’Reilly ($9.50).

Will In Her Time justify favouritism and win the 2017 Tattersall’s Tiara, or will one of her talented rivals post an upset?

Bonny O’Reilly ($9.50)

Bonny O’Reilly has returned to racing in outstanding form this season and should prove extremely tough to run down in the Tattersall’s Tiara on Saturday. The winner of two minor Sydney sprints upon resuming in May, the O’reilly mare made a successful transition to black type racing when a comfortable winner of the Listed Helen Coughlan Stakes (1200m) on June 3rd. maintaining to the line well to finish third in the Group 2 Dane Ripper Stakes (1350m) a fortnight ago, Bonny O’reilly will require some luck early to find the pace from an awkward draw, but her class and form suggests that she will be right in the finish of this race.

Prompt Response ($6.50)

Prompt Response is treated extremely well as a three-year-old under the conditions of the Tattersall’s Tiara and carries terrific form into the feature race. Second in the Group 3 PJ Bell Stakes (1200m) first-up on April 1st, the Beneteau filly placed fourth in the Group 3 JB Carr Stakes (1400m) a fortnight later. Second in each of the Group 3 Hawkesbury Guineas (1400m) and the Group 3 Dark Jewel Classic (1400m), Prompt Response arrived in Brisbane for a half-length win in the Dane Ripper Stakes and could receive the run of the race in the Tattersall’s Tiara from barrier 8, with Tommy Berry in the saddle.

French Emotion ($26)

French Emotion failed to fire in the Dane Ripper Stakes a fortnight ago, but the horse’s overall class suggests that she is capable amongst the company and is way over the Tattersall’s Tiara odds at her current quote. Storming home to finish a close second in the Group 1 Myer Classic (1600m) most notably in spring at long odds, the Snitzel mare has produced several impressive performances and results this time in; highlighted by a close second in the Group 2 Sunline Stakes (1600m) and smart win in the Vobis Gold Distaff (1400m).
