Tattersall's Tiara (Winter Stakes)

The final field has been announced for Saturday’s Listed $100,000 2012 Winter Stakes (1400m) at Warwick Farm Racecourse.

Headlining the 12-horse group is talented Joe Pride-trained sprinter See The World who is chasing a third consecutive victory.

The five-year-old gelding has received a favourable barrier six draw but will be backing up just seven days after winning at Rosehill in the Westend Mazda BM95.

Gold Coast four-year-old Startsmeup, a former black-type place-getter at the track, also heads into the race on the back of winning form after taking out the Ipswich Dash on June 16.

Heading into the race on the back of opposite form is former Doncaster place-getter Brilliant Light.

The six-year-old has not won since April 2010 and has not finished better than fourth in his last 12 starts.

Another runner with former black-type success is Gai Waterhouse-trained gelding King Lionheart who won the Group 2 Shannon Stakes at Rosehill last spring.

The AL Maher five-year-old will carry the top weight of 59kg in his return from a spell and will be ridden by star stable jockey Nash Rawiller.

Last-start winner Embark is facing a step up in class in her first Listed level race but the talented three-year-old has signalled plenty of potential.

The daughter of Choisir has not finished worse than second in her two most recent preparations from nine starts.

Also named in the field is Joe Pride-trained Fifteen Carat and Ron Quinton pair Irish Dream and Onecatstoomany.
