Pear Tart has won the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara at Eagle Farm Racecourse last Saturday June 23, 2012.
The Dehere filly cemented her promising Queensland Guineas form by winning the Group 1 Tattersall’s Tiara by a head.
Skyerush placed second in the 2012 Tattersall’s Tiara, while Gai’s Choice finished third in the race.
Pear Tart as now won six of her nine race starts and has earned more than $580,000 in prize money.
The three-year-old filly’s camp have already named next year’s Stradbroke Handicap as a target for Pear Tart during the Brisbane Winter Racing Carnival.
She will also tackle the upcoming Spring Racing Carnival, with the Group 1 Myer Classic at Flemington on Derby Day being her aim.
